The Meadowbrook Partnership

Snoqualmie Valley School District’s Meadowbrook School (MBS) offers a unique partnership that bridges the gap between school and home. Designed to complement parent-led instruction, our program provides families with a robust learning community and essential resources, including district-supported curriculum and expert guidance. Central to this partnership is the Student Learning Plan—a collaborative roadmap created by families and certificated teachers to address each student's individual needs and track their progress through grade-level content. To ensure every child meets state standards, students participate in district and state assessments, including WaKIDS, Acadience, STAR, SBA, and WCAS.

Elementary School Day

Our Elementary program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. in our portables located behind Snoqualmie Elementary School (SES). We pride ourselves on maintaining small class sizes, with a maximum of 15 students, allowing teachers to dive deep into core curriculum such as Language Arts, Math, and STEAM.

Beyond core academics, students attend daily specialist classes in Music, Library, PE, or Coding. The school day is balanced with two 20-minute recesses and a scheduled lunch period, with the option to purchase school meals through SES. For added convenience, students can utilize the district bus system by transferring from their neighborhood school to Snoqualmie Elementary.

To ensure our students have everything they need to thrive, MBS partners with a dedicated team of district professionals. Our families have access to the Snoqualmie Elementary counselor and nurse, a district social worker, and a multi-lingual specialist.

For students requiring Specially Designed Instruction (SDI), we provide access to necessary support services on-site. Families and educators partner with the SES special education teachers to coordinate these schedules, and MBS teachers are committed to implementing all accommodations and modifications as specified in each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan.

Students building mazes

Kindergarteners designed custom mazes and blew ping-pong balls through the paths to simulate how wind force moves objects through an environment.

Mrs. Pynn’s class brought their planet research to life by creating detailed 3-D models with help from Mrs. Duncan’s students.
