Enrollment Information

Step 1: Apply
While our formal enrollment window kicks off with information sessions in February and a lottery on March 3rd, we still have openings available. To get started, families must first attend an info session, after which you will receive an application form. Since we are now past the initial enrollment period, please reach out directly to our registrar, Robyn Kolke, to check current availability for your child's grade level and secure your spot. If you are wanting to register throughout the year, please reach out to our registrar, Robyn Kolke, about room. 

Step 2:  Enroll
If your student is currently enrolled in a SVSD school, you will complete a modified enrollment form and submit to our registrar, Robyn Kolke. If your student is not currently enrolled in a SVSD school, you will enroll with the district.  

Note that while MBS in-person typically fills up by June, we have a strong interest in admitting all students from the waitlist and will work with you to enroll if at all possible.  

Step 3:  Create a Learning Plan
After your child has been officially enrolled in MBS, their assigned teacher will reach out to you to start putting together a Written Student Learning Plan. This living document outlines the classes (subjects) your child will be learning outside of the two days per week they attend in-person classes. 

Step 4:  Begin the Learning Journey
The school year begins on the first week of September, after a brief student orientation in the last week of August. You will begin regular communications with your designated teacher, primarily through ParentSquare. You will receive weekly updates from your teacher and submit monthly progress reports through an online portal.
